VCT is a course that proposes an innovative combination of Cooperative Learning, Educational Technologies and Preventive System, with the Salesian style of educating (fundamental elements of the Preventive System applied to the reality of higher education), thus concentrating a rich potential for change in teachers’ attitudes. It proposes new ways of teaching and learning, of educating, for teachers from the most varied fields of knowledge.

It is a theoretical-practical course, in which students learn by doing (cooperative learning, Salesian style, and use of technologies). The interaction between students-tutor and the teacher-tutor takes place through various communication tools available within the virtual learning environment. These tools aim at interaction, construction of knowledge, exchange of knowledge and information and constant communication between students and their teacher and between students and their course colleagues.
